Preparation and Timing

Most photographers agree that great sports photography is created by preparation and timing. Without both the shot is lost in time - never to be found again. No flash, a low shot angle, and being confined to a stationary position around the rink are just some of the challenges with this shooting ringside, but I love the non-stop action where the only time to review your images is in between matches.
